SafePatrol Solutions Inc. Privacy Policy

Please read the following carefully

SafePatrol Solutions Inc. ("SafePatrol") is committed to protecting the confidentially of information entrusted to it by all users ("Users") of the SafePatrol Solutions website (the "Site"). This Privacy Policy (the "SafePatrol Privacy Policy"; or "this Policy") governs all aspects of how SafePatrol collects, uses, maintains and discloses personally identifiable information from all Users of the Site; including any Personal Information collected in the course of providing the services offered by SafePatrol through the Site (the "Services"). SafePatrol does not knowingly collect or use Personal Information from anyone under the age of 18. Accordingly, Users under the age of 18 should not provide SafePatrol with their Personal Information.

SafePatrol reserves the right to change any of the SafePatrol Privacy Policy at any time and in its sole discretion. Any changes will be effective upon the posting of the revisions on the Site. Users' use of the Site will be subject to the most current version of the SafePatrol Privacy Policy posted on the Site at the time of such use. YOUR CONTINUED USE OF THIS SITE AND THE SERVICES FOLLOWING SAFEPATROL'S POSTING OF ANY CHANGES WILL CONSTITUE YOUR ACCEPTANCE OF SUCH CHANGES OR MODIFICATIONS. IF YOU DO NOT AGREE TO ANY CHANGES TO THIS POLICY, PLEASE IMMEDIATELY DISCONTINUE USE OF THE SITE AND THE SERVICES.

Objective and Scope of this Policy

This Policy has been prepared to inform Users of SafePatrol's Policy and practices concerning the collection, use and disclosure of Users' Personal Information. SafePatrol collects "aggregate information" such as Site traffic, page views or impressions. Such aggregate information is not correlated to any individual User of the Site. SafePatrol also collects information from Users who apply to obtain additional information about the SafePatrol Services and from Users who use the Site to send e-mails to SafePatrol personnel. SafePatrol does not sell, trade, rent or otherwise disclose any Personal Information to any third party. SafePatrol may provide non-specific, non-identifiable, statistical aggregate information regarding SafePatrol's customers, Site traffic, and related Site information to third parties but in no event will SafePatrol disclose any Personal Information.

This Policy governs Personal Information collected from Users for the purposes described herein. It does not govern Personal Information SafePatrol collects from and about its employees, the protection of which is governed by other applicable laws and internal SafePatrol policies. This Policy also does not cover aggregated data from which the identity of an individual cannot be determined. SafePatrol retains the right to use aggregated data in any way that it determines appropriate. All SafePatrol employees and members of SafePatrol's Board of Directors are required to comply with the terms of this Policy as a condition of their employment or as a requirement for continued membership. Using contractual or other arrangements, SafePatrol will ensure that agents, contractors or third party service providers, who may receive Personal Information in the course of providing services to SafePatrol as part of SafePatrol.s delivery of Services, protect that Personal Information in a manner consistent with the principles articulated in this Policy.

What Personal Information does SafePatrol Collect?

SafePatrol may, from time to time, collect personally identifiable information ("Personal Information") from Users. This includes name, contact information and demographic information that Users provide and information collected electronically about how Users use the Site (e.g. via cookies) that can be used to identify the User should they visit the Site again. SafePatrol records IP addresses to help diagnose problems with its server, and to administer the Site. IP addresses are used to help identify Users and to gather broad demographic information. Please note that this Policy does not cover aggregated data from which the identity of an individual cannot be determined. SafePatrol retains the right to use aggregated data in any way that it determines appropriate.

How does SafePatrol Use Personal Information that it has collected?

SafePatrol may, from time to time, use Personal Information collected through the Site to: (i) fulfill Users' requests regarding the Services; (ii) contact Users directly regarding the Services offered by SafePatrol and its trusted affiliates, independent contractors and business partners; (iii) understand User preferences in order to enhance Users' experience with SafePatrol and such affiliates, independent contractors and business partners; (iv) research the effectiveness of the Site and the marketing, advertising and sales efforts of SafePatrol, its trusted affiliates, independent contractors and business partners; (v) meet any legal or regulatory requirement; and (vi) for such other purposes consistent with the forgoing purposes. SafePatrol's use of Personal Information is limited to these purposes. Unless permitted by law, no Personal Information about a User is collected, without first obtaining the consent of the individual to the collection, use and dissemination of that information.

Does SafePatrol Disclose Personal Information to third parties?

SafePatrol will use all information collected from their customers for internal purposes only. SafePatrol does not sell or otherwise disclose to third parties any Personal Information that it has obtained. Some anonymous data based on information collected from Users may be disclosed to potential and existing business partners, and investors.

Please note that there are circumstances where the use or disclosure of Personal Information may be justified or permitted or where SafePatrol is obliged to disclose Personal Information without consent. Such circumstances may include: (i) where required by law; (ii) where it is necessary to protect the rights, privacy, safety or property of an identifiable person or group; (iii) where it is necessary to protect the rights or property of SafePatrol; or (iv) where the Personal Information is public. Personal Information may also be subject to transfer to another company in the event of a change of ownership of all or part of SafePatrol. This will occur only if the parties have entered into an agreement under which the collection, use and disclosure of such information is restricted to those purposes that relate to the business transaction, including a determination whether or not to proceed with the business transaction and to carry out and complete the business transaction. Where obliged or permitted to disclose information without consent, SafePatrol will not disclose more information than is required.

Accuracy, Retention and Security of Personal Information

SafePatrol endeavors to ensure that any Personal Information provided by Users and in its possession is accurate, current and complete as necessary for the purposes for which SafePatrol uses that information. Personal Information contained in databases and/or files that are inactive is not actively updated or maintained. Portions of the SafePatrol Site are password protected to help safeguard User's Personal Information. A password chosen by the User provides access to certain portions of the Site. Select SafePatrol personnel have password-protected access to User information. SafePatrol reserves the right to change passwords at any time to protect the security of the SafePatrol Site. SafePatrol requires that you keep confidential the password you select for accessing its Site. Users are required to email SafePatrol immediately at "Contact Us" if their password has been compromised or if a User forgets his/her password. SafePatrol will issue a reminder of the password via email or change the password.

SafePatrol retains Personal Information about Users as long as SafePatrol believes it is necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected. Currently, SafePatrol holds Personal Information at Markham, Ontario or on its server maintained by CyberNet Canada. Personal Information about Users that is maintained on SafePatrol's systems is protected using industry standard security measures. However, SafePatrol cannot guarantee that the information submitted to, maintained on, or transmitted from SafePatrol's systems will be completely secure as transmission of information over the Internet is susceptible to possible loss, misrouting, interception and misuse.

Access to Personal Information held by SafePatrol

SafePatrol permits access to and review of Personal Information held by SafePatrol about an individual by the individual concerned, under most circumstances. An individual User may also request that SafePatrol delete such User's Personal Information from SafePatrol's system and records. However, due to technical constraints and the fact that SafePatrol backs up its systems, Personal Information may continue to reside in SafePatrol's systems after deletion. Individuals, therefore, should not expect that their Personal Information would be completely removed from SafePatrol's systems in response to an accepted request for deletion. Where information will not or cannot be disclosed, the individual making the request will be provided with the reasons for non-disclosure. Where information will be disclosed, SafePatrol will endeavor to provide the information in question within a reasonable time and no later than ten (10) days following the request. If an individual believes any Personal Information concerning that individual is not correct, that individual may request an update of that information by sending a request to the person indicated below in "Questions about this Policy and User's Privacy". To guard against fraudulent requests for access, SafePatrol will require sufficient information to allow it to confirm the identity of the person making the request before granting access or making corrections.

What You Consent and Agree To

Your provision of Personal Information to SafePatrol means that you agree and consent that SafePatrol may collect, use and disclose your Personal Information in accordance with this Policy. If a User does not agree with these terms, the Users is requested not to provide any Personal Information to SafePatrol. However, certain Services can only be offered if a User's Personal Information is provided to SafePatrol. Consequently, if a User chooses not to provide SafePatrol with any required Personal Information, SafePatrol may not be able to offer those Services to such User.

Where the collection of Personal Information is not essential to the use of the Site, SafePatrol provides Users with the opportunity to opt-out of receiving communications at the point where personal information about a User is requested. Users who wish to remove their information from the SafePatrol database, in order not to receive future communications or to no longer participate in SafePatrol services should send an email at "Contact Us"

Amendment of SafePatrol practices and this Policy

This statement is in effect as of 2003-11-15. SafePatrol will from time to time review and revise its privacy practices and this Policy. In the event of any amendment, an appropriate notice will be posted on this Site. Policy changes will apply to the information collected from the date of posting of the revised SafePatrol Privacy Policy to SafePatrol's Site as well as to existing information held by SafePatrol.
